Speed Sensor Manufacturing
Bestaş adapts to the changes in order to develop a speed sensor suitable carrying out the auto-gain technology standards for tractor manufacturers with reverse voltage and high current protection.

Expansion in the Market
In this year, the company expands its range of instrument panels and begins to work in cooperation with the full spectrum of tractor manufacturers in Turkey. It rapidly achieves unprecedented growth, dominating half of the market. By now, it has sold and manufactured 50,000 instrument panels.

Instrument Cluster for Heavy Vehicles
Following changes and stalls in the tachograph market, Bestaş turns to the production of automotive instrument panels. It develops instrument panels for heavy vehicles and enters this market.

Electronic Tachographs with smart SIM cards
Bestaş starts manufacturing electronic tachographs with smart SIM cards and achieves great success, with its product present in more than 40% of all heavy vehicles on the road.

Leaders Choice among TV Producers
Bestaş starts manufacturing capacitors. It becomes the official supplier to all television manufacturers in Turkey.

Market Entry to TV Industry
Bestaş starts manufacturing resistors. At this point in time, the manufacture of televisions is just beginning in Turkey. Bestaş becomes the official resistor supplier to all major manufacturers in Turkey.
1983
How Everything Began
One of today’s industry giants with numerous customers in Turkey and around the world, Bestaş starts conducting business in 1983 as an electronics importer in Istanbul’s Karaköy district.
